About Women on Boards New Zealand

We are a New Zealand based organisation, established by Massey University Alumni, Dr Rosanne Hawarden (DBA) and Lesley Whyte (MBA) to promote greater gender diversity at the C-suite and board level, along with being the only national organisation in New Zealand dedicated to prepare and empower the next generation of board ready women.

The Future – this coming decade

Nearly one billion women will enter the global economy for the first time in the coming decade alone and they will dramatically reshape the world of business and economies, globally.

While as an organisation we do not have the resources to work with one billion women, we do although have a plan for New Zealand women starting in 2013.

We believe the future of gender diversity in the boardroom starts now and Women on Boards New Zealand wants to make a difference to the pipeline of women.
